What the chart tells you

Only 4 out of 10 hosts lock your price at signup InterServer, Kinsta, Cloudways, and the two VPS providers. Everyone else raises prices 100-500% at renewal.

GoDaddy is the only host that charges extra for both SSL and CDN. Every other host includes at least one for free.

Staging environments are a managed hosting feature. If you need staging on shared hosting, SiteGround is the only budget option that includes it.

VPS hosts (RackNerd, BandwagonHost) don't include managed features no CDN, no SSL, no email. You manage everything yourself. The tradeoff is full root access at under $5/mo.
